IHL News Round-up - Feb 2020
Welcome to your new, monthly Irish Hobbit League News Round-up. Here we will summarize the recent tournament results, keep an eye on the race for title of IHL Champion 2020 and look ahead to see what events are coming up soon.
Tournament Round-up
And what a blistering start 2020 has seen with 3 tournaments already completed.
We kicked off the Wicklow Skirmish where Gary Doyle and the Ithilien Rangers won out over Paddy McCormick (Ugluk's Scouts) in 2nd and Dave Coleman (Army of Thror) in 3rd. Check out those winning armies here:

Having barely had time to catch a breath the League quickly headed north to the Battle on the Plains of Lisburn. Here Micheal Bunting's Elven alliance emerged triumphant over Micheal Bradford (Last Alliance) in 2nd and Paddy McCormick (Return of the King) in 3rd. See here for all the details:

And finally, the League headed south to Cork for Warpcon and a Good vs Evil 800 point tournament. Dave Coleman came out on top ahead of Stephen Devlin in 2nd and Dave Murphy in 3rd. All 6 of the winning armies can be seen here:

Coming up
The next scheduled IHL tournament is the Battle of Bangor, an 850 point event in Bangor, Co. Down on February 22-23.
Then we will have the War in the North in early April, an escalation tournament held in Coleraine.
